诗意之美学
这是一位设计师的老顾客，在承购新屋时，直觉地情商设计师再度为其居住空间作嫁。于是，这个设计案的话匣子始于对生活之中卫浴设备的讨论，由于业主十分喜爱现代风格，虽然事业有成，心态却仍十分年轻，对现代设计品牌多有涉猎。过去是德国品牌Duravit之中Starck系列的喜用者，为求新颖之感，此次遂选定Laufen一组以圆形为设计概念的卫浴品牌。为此，设计师从中提炼出「圆形」作为贯穿整体空间的重要元素，同时结合极简与POP普普风的概念，作为居住场域的主轴。
细节，阅读此案的关键
此一空间为上下两个楼层以一圆形楼梯串联衔接。一楼界定为公共空间，二楼为家人交流的私密空间。设计师邱德光表示，为了突显极简与普普风格两者融合的特殊性，空间架构上避免多余装饰元素，客厅立面与地面一并以洞石为基材，保有空间单纯的基调。在不同空间属性上则刻意透过材料的变化，突显空间的特殊性，并适时地藉由圆形元素和色彩点缀与铺陈，让空间更形丰富生动起来。然而，若要发觉其中的设计趣味，很显然，「细节」是阅读此案的关键。
如玄关上，利用透明石材做出的光墙，一边以镜面反射出延展的空间穿透感，另一边的储藏室则巧妙整合于墙面之中。立面上包括墙面、柱体等量体，上下部分刻意预留不等的勾缝，顶部刻意脱离、不直接与天花板衔接，借此产生延伸、穿透的想像空间。另外，刻意挑选的家具，画龙点睛地?空间添入如装置艺术般的效果，都让乍看似乎单纯的空间暗藏可供仔细咀嚼的精致细节。
楼梯，ModernArt概念
位于空间视觉焦点的圆形楼梯，以如现代艺术的形式展现，为此案的经典之作。整座圆形楼梯仅以中间白色旋转钢梁为支撑点，作螺旋状旋转而上，一气呵成，同时又与一旁延伸至二楼的圆弧雾面玻璃光墙相互呼应又自成一格。其他元素如扶手、踏板等，各自独立，宛如一现代雕塑般，在一旁透明石材光墙的映衬下，展现了彼此之间虚与实的戏剧性效果。
邱德光表示，设计师的角色是针对业主的需求，提供美学上的专业。这种美学是透过设计师的素养转化而成，一种能赋予空间想像、风格定调的展现，进而成就与业主实力相当的品味。这也是此案意欲彰显的课题。采访」周巽莉

Thisapartmenthastwolevelswithacircularstaircasetolinkthem.Thefirstflooristhepublicspacewhilethesecondisdesignatedforfamilyonly.Theclientagreedthatthebestinteriorforhisfamilywouldhavetheleastembellishmentsinbothdecorationandcolor,Chougavethewholeapartmentatranquilimpressionofintimacy.ThefloorispavedwithItaliancavitystoneplatesandthissimpletectonicsisspreadalloverthisapartmentwhileeachindividualroomhasaspecificfeatureofthespatialdetails.
Detailsarethemostcrucialelementofthisdesign;wheneveronewalksintothespace,hefindsinterestingdetailstoappreciate.
Inthelobbyspacestandsawallfulloflightwithitssurfacewascoveredwithathinplateofstone.Besidethiswall,thereismirroredpartitionandastoragespacehiddenbehindtheheavypartition.Inthelivingspaceonefindsseveralgeometricalbodiesextendingfromthefloorupwardtotheceilingwhileslightlydetachedfromthetopoftheceiling.Theseoddgapscreateasurrealfantasyandcreateanimpressionofvisualtransparency.
Thefinefurnituresetinthisspacelookasiftheyareartworksinamuseum.Theseelementsaremorethanutilitarianpieces,rathertheyareelementsthatwakeuppeople'semotion.
Staircase:amodernmetaphor
Thecircularstaircaseisdefinitelythevisualfocusoftheapartment;withitsdynamicbeauty,itshouldcertainlybeconsideredamasterpieceinsteelandglasstechnology.Awhitecylindercolumnsupportsthestaircaseanditgraduallywindsupinaspiralrhythm.Itlandsonthesecondfloorandjoinscontinuouslywithatranslucentglasswall.Elementsinthisstairlikethehandrailandtreadsarecarefullycraftedinaveryhighquality.Theyareformedintothisstaircaseandmakeitlikeafinesculpturalpiece.Anilluminatedstonewallandstairdeservetheirmosteye-catchingattention.Whileoneexpandshorizontallywiththesturdypowerofdominationtheotherisatensionfilledverticalelement.
